| Monaro Magic is the latest book from renowned Holden historian Norm Darwin covers Monaro models from 1968 to 2006 including Pontiac GTO, HSV and HQ SS. The history is crammed full of details on models, their design, colours, stripes, ID information, options and production numbers. Printed on good quality paper the book features hundreds of images in large format, many not published before. Foreword by Monaro Guru, Warren Turnbull. The book has specific chapters on the original Monaro development with styling images and comments from the original stylists and engineers. Detailed chapters cover each model with paint, trim and mechanical details. Lots of original images, advertising and each models original sales brochure is reprinted. Also included are production numbers for each model. The SS HQ has its own chapter along with the LE Monaro and there is a special chapter on Monaro Engines, including the story of original engineering development of the 253/308 V8 that has never been told.
